This information is provided by Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA). These are the sites used in the Clark Regional EOC to receive notification and assess information about hazardous conditions. For current information, subscribe to our blog.
Notification Services
PublicAlerts.org - News and information on major service disruptions in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington Metro area.
Emergency E-mail Network - Web service for receiving warning information via text message to cell phones and pagers. Weather and other warning information is available here. This is highly recommended for the hearing impaired.
FlashAlert.net - Subscribe to news alerts and news releases from participating organizations.
Weather Information
National Weather Service Forecast Office - Portland, Oregon - Access a recording of weather information at (360) 694-6136.
Weatherbug - Download the Weatherbug weather monitoring software here. This software resides in your computer system tray (lower right corner on windows PCs) and alerts you when weather warnings are issued for the local area.
NOAA Weather Radio - Access the National Weather Service continuous broadcast of weather information. This site provides information about tone alert radios that will alarm when urgent weather advisories are issued for your area.
FLARE Desktop Weather Display System - FLARE pulls National Weather Service data from the internet into a customizable desktop interface. During installation, the user configures this system so only local weather data is displayed.
Floods
River Status Information - National Weather Service, Portland - River flow and gage monitoring for: Columbia River, Lewis River, East Fork of the Lewis River, Salmon Creek, and Washougal River.
Northwest River Forecast Center - Provides river forecasts and data. This is redundant to the National Weather Service site, but the information presented a little differently. This is useful if there is a problem with the National Weather Service's site.
Amateur Radio River Monitoring - Remote river level monitoring for Lewis River, Fifth Plain Creek, Salmon Creek and the Washougal River.

Oregon Department of Transportation - Updated information about road conditions in Oregon and Washington can also be found by calling 5-1-1.

University of Washington - Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network
USGS National Earthquake Information Center
USGS Earthquake Notification Service - An excellent service that allows you to customize how you want to receive notification of earthquake activity.
Volcanic Activity
Cascades Volcano Observatory - Vancouver, Washington - Definitive source of information about volcanic activity on Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, and other cascade volcanoes.
Air Resources Laboratory - Volcanic Ash Transport and Dispersion - Low resolution ash plume modeling.
Bioterrorism and Public Health Emergencies
Clark County Public Health - Bioterrorism and Emergency Preparedness and Response - Find State (Department of Health) and Federal (CDC) web resources for public health emergencies.

Wildfire
Inciweb - Incident Information System - Web portal for all national wildfire incidents or all-risk incidents involving the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). User can limit search to specific states.
Northwest Interagency Coordination Center (NWCC) - NWCC is the center for coordination of all wildfires in Oregon and Washington. Excellent source for hazard assessments, incident, and resource status information.
