Clark
County Public Safety Educator's Coalition
The
Clark County Public Safety Educators’ Coalition (PSEC)
was established for the purpose to coordinate, organize
and/or offer public education on safety issues for Clark
County, and to reduce the frequency and impact of emergencies.
PSEC
consists of personnel from emergency response agencies
in Clark County. They meet monthly to discuss and share
ideas related to illness and injury prevention, schedule
public safety events and to make recommendations to the
EMS Council regarding the use of PSEC grant funds.
Public Education
and First Responder Support Grants
Public education and first responder support
grants are available to be used for first responder support,
public CPR/First Aid training and illness and injury prevention
programs. Funds are obtained through EMS District #2’s
ambulance contract fines.
